When the installation joint-stock company discovered that the traditional civil electromechanical installation process that we had been using was basically outdated in some advanced installation units due to its own disadvantages, and replaced by more advanced and environmentally friendly emerging technologies. Leaders at all levels of the company have foresight, in-depth observation and understanding of the future development trend of the industry, decisively grasp the opportunities brought by new trends, and introduce new technologies and new products such as building information modeling (BIM) technology and new fabricated supports and hangers to realize themselves In addition, the Chunxi Building project, which is in the stage of installation and embedding, is used as a pilot project for the application of new technologies and new products.

In order to be able to use BIM technology to better solve practical problems and truly maximize the value of introducing this technology, leaders at all levels have carefully studied, combined with the actual situation of the Chunxi Building project, and carefully analyzed. In the case of low net height and the owner's strict requirements on the building's indoor net height, this technology is particularly suitable for the Chunxi Building project. At the same time, the new prefabricated support and hanger used on the first to fifth floors have realized the factory prefabrication of the support and hanger, and strive to make a substantial leap in energy conservation, environmental protection and sensory quality, and from the construction quality, cost control and construction schedule Real-time follow-up on the first to fifth floors and comparison with the traditional installation process to provide guidance for other projects in the future to use this technology. Although this technology is not a precedent for the use of BIM technology in the entire construction industry of Yunnan Province, it is the first time that this new technology has been used for construction guidance, and the new assembly support and hanger used in conjunction with it It is the first in Yunnan Province. Therefore, the company also decided to seize this opportunity to apply for the Yunnan Province "Quality Project" award.


When the Chunxi Building project department received the company’s notice on the use of BIM technology, the project department responded actively, organized and implemented various requirements, and fully cooperated with the company’s BIM technicians. After a month of hard work, the basement Three-dimensional renderings have begun to take shape. In order to carry out the next step of the work smoothly, the project department decided to hold the preliminary results of BIM technology, and invite the owners and supervision units to guide our work. At the meeting, animations were used to vividly show all the majors of the optimized former basement. The collision problem in the construction process and the 3D animation renderings after the collision problem is optimized by using BIM technology. After listening to the report, all units spoke highly of the company's BIM technology optimization plan.

At the same time, in order to adapt to the company’s wider application of BIM technology in the future and cultivate more technical talents, the Tenth Management Department of the Installation Joint Stock Company organized the technical chief engineers and construction personnel of various project departments in Chunxi on May 25, 2014. In addition, many successful examples of BIM applications at home and abroad are also shown, and BIM technology is comprehensively and in-depth introduced.
